A modern digital home for dance music, built to tune in fast
Dance Mix USA is a US-based online radio station broadcasting live dance, pop, and electronic music around the clock. The station is part of a growing network that includes New Country USA, Hit Country USA, Hit Music USA, and Classic Hits Now — each serving a dedicated listener community.
We were brought in to design and develop a web platform that puts live streaming front and center, makes song discovery effortless, and gives listeners every possible way to tune in — from browser to app to smart speaker.

The Challenge
Too many listener barriers, not enough engagement
Online radio sites have a unique UX challenge — listeners need to reach the stream in seconds, but the site also has to serve schedules, song history, requests, and community. Dance Mix USA had no clean path for any of it: no real-time song visibility, no unified streaming experience, no mobile app, and the sister-station network was invisible.

We rebuilt the entire web presence with a clear priority: get listeners to the stream in one click, then give them reasons to stay. The platform combines a persistent HTML5 radio player, real-time Now Playing data, a voice request system, deep-linked mobile apps, and a full sister-station network — all on a fast, maintainable WordPress build.
